Pot Luck Dinners
Our Community Pot Luck Dinners have become real social events for residents and visitors alike! As these are a community social event, we would love to have you involved with the evening activities such as the presentation of tables, and kitchen duties. We're also open to new ideas such as having a theme or an international foods evening. Pot Luck Dinners are usually on the last Friday of the month. A small Koha would be appreciated, along with your delicious contribution! We look forward to seeing you! 
Your Fire Service needs you - The FENZ South Taupo Rural Fire Service are looking for locals to come on board and assist in the smooth running of the service.

Hi all! I am sure many of you will have heard a little about the private neighbourhood website Neighbourly.co.nz
Neighbourly is a free website that has been designed to make it easier for neighbours to connect with each other, ultimately building stronger, safer and friendlier places to call home.
We have have set up the Omori Kuratau Group so we have a simple directory that we can use to contact each other, as well as a platform to discuss important issues, events and fun things relevant to our community. Currently on Neighbourly people are sharing and talking about community events, discussing crime and safety information, suggesting recommendations for local service providers plus much more.
